About Prism HME Training Division
HME was established in 1997 and now has a team of 15 experts who work throughout the UK.
It was established by Martin Hutchinson and Rosemary Rogers have worked together for over 25 years and are acknowledged national and international experts in this field. They were founder members of East Midlands Back Exchange, and have produced and contributed to a number of publications and training resources and regularly spoken at conferences both in the UK and abroad.
HME received a National Training Award in December 2007 and was invited by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) to explain their award winning management system and training programme at over 30 care home seminars held throughout the UK during 2008/9.
Our highly qualified team has many years of experience in the provision of services within local authorities, NHS trusts, ambulance services, social care services, residential homes, home care services, schools, universities, nurseries, independent and voluntary agencies and industry.
All HME trainers have attained the IOSH Approved Trainers Certificate in Manual Handling – Assisting People to Move. HME has a rigorous CPD and standardisation programme for all trainers and carries out annual appraisals of their training delivery to comply with our quality assurance processes.
