The Assessment Process

To make the Prism assessment process as simple as possible, we’ve broken it down into four easy steps.

1. Get in Touch

If your query is urgent, we recommend calling us on 01924 840100, option 5. Our Assessor Schedulers are available from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

2. Scheduling the Appointment

Once we’ve received your request, our central scheduling team will work with you to arrange a suitable date and time. For appointments, our standard lead time is just 5 working days, but if you have some flexibility, we can often accommodate an appointment within 2-3 days of receiving your request.

3. The Assessment Visit

A Prism representative will arrive at the scheduled time in a branded vehicle and with an ID badge. They will bring a range of equipment, such as slings and shower chairs, for a practical consultation. This collaborative meeting brings together our product specialist, the occupational therapist, and the client to find the ideal solution for the moving and handling challenge.

4. Quotation Presented

Within 24 hours of the assessment, we will send the occupational therapist a detailed quote with our recommendations. This quote will include drawings where applicable, providing a clear visual of the proposed solution. At this point, the case will be with the occupational therapist, who can advise on the next steps, such as going to a panel or ordering directly. Of course, we are always available should further queries arise.
